A woman has been charged with assaulting a police officer.

Lisa Laine, 36, of Attlee Drive, Dartford, was charged after police were called to a disturbance in St Vincent's Avenue on Thursday, July 26.

The incident took place at around 1.30am and a 40-year-old man from Dartford was also arrested on suspicion of assault.

He was later released without charge.

Ms Laine was bailed and will appear at Medway Magistrate's Court on August 21.
