The line up for the town’s annual festival has been announced.
Midge Ure, BoyzLife, featuring Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden, The Jam, and The Blockheads are just some of the names to be performing at the Dartford Festival place on Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15.
The free event takes place in the town’s Central Park from 11am until 7pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 6pm on Sunday.
Away from the main stage visitors will be able to see dance and drama groups on the Community Stage and explore a range of charity and commercial stalls.
Local sports clubs will also be running activity taster sessions including Dartford Valley Rugby Club and Dartford Cricket Club.
Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of Dartford Borough Council, said: “Dartford Festival is the highlight of the Central Park calendar and this year we’re welcoming some classic acts to the main stage.
“We love to mix big name stars with the best of our local bands and this year Midge Ure, Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden will making their debut at the event.
“We work hard to make it a fantastic family event so our community stage will be busy all weekend celebrating the groups, clubs and talented local people who make Dartford a very special place.
“We’re very proud of Dartford Festival and I’m delighted that it’s going from strength to strength.”
