A bus company has condemned the actions of “anti-social” yobs after one of its vehicles was struck.
The window of an Arriva bus service was smashed while still in operation last Friday (February 2).
The incident occurred in the Temple Hill area of Dartford and impacted the area by the “priority” seats, which are often used by pregnant women, the elderly and the vulnerable.
An image taken at the scene shows shards of glass scattered across them and on the bus floor.
It is understood children were on board at the time but nobody was hurt.
A spokesperson for Arriva South said: “We completely condemn this sort of behaviour and should not need to ask people to stop behaving in an anti-social way and dangerous way, but sadly we do.”
There were also reports of a car with a smashed backscreen, and other vehicles and windows being egged on the same evening.
The bus incident has been reported to the police.
