Appointments at a hospital have been postponed following a power cut.
Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford said it had experienced a loss of power earlier this morning.
Although power has been restored to most of the site and all patients are safe, a spokesperson said “it will have an impact throughout the day”.
As a result, some appointments are being postponed and the hospital said it will contact patients at the “earliest opportunity” to re-arrange.
A spokesperson for the hospital said: “We urge the public to please call 111 to be directed to the appropriate alternative service. Please call 999 in an emergency.
“For all other patients, please do not come to the hospital unless you are asked. The situation is dynamic, and it may change.
“We will update through our website and social media channels.”
