A man has been arrested after a driver died following a crash on the A2.
The collision involving two lorries happened on the coast-bound carriageway at around 4.20am yesterday near Dartford, about a mile before the exit for the M25.

A Royal Mail worker from Medway, who was in his 30s, died at the scene.
Shortly before the crash a red Citroen C4 was involved in a collision with the central reservation at the same location.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of driving without insurance and failing to provide a breath sample.
He has since been released pending further inquiries.
"It just puts it into perspective how dangerous driving can actually be."
One witness who drove past the scene on his way to work said he "never seen anything like it".
Jamie Ruck added: "When I drove past the air ambulance was there, several fire crew members as well as police including forensics and multiple ambulance crews.
"They were followed by the traffic officers that was turning traffic around to clear the dual carriageway and allow the police and other emergency services to carry out their jobs.
"It just puts it into perspective how dangerous driving can actually be."
A spokesman for Royal Mail said: "We are aware of the tragic events that occurred yesterday. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of those involved.
"Whilst the matter is being investigated, we cannot comment any further."
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances and officers are appealing for witnesses to get in contact.
Officers would also like to obtain dashcam footage that captures the vehicles travelling in the moments leading up to the collision.
The air ambulance was called out just after 4am after the two lorries crashed.
It landed on the coast-bound carriageway between the A2018 Old Bexley Lane (Dartford Heath) and the M25 J2 (Darenth Interchange) just before 5am but the driver could not be saved.
The stretch was closed for more than 12 hours to allow for investigations into the circumstances.
