An arrest has been made after a passenger died in a crash.
At around 6.55am yesterday, a white Kia Rio travelling on the London-bound carriageway collided with a barrier just after the Swanley Interchange.
Police and paramedics attended but the man, who was in his 40s, was confirmed dead at the scene.
A second passenger was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The driver of a Kia Rio was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drugs.
The 25-year-old man was taken into custody and has since been released on bail to return to the police station on November 17, pending further investigation.
