Arrest after police chase ends with crash in London Road Swanscombe

A man has been arrested after leading police on a car chase earlier today.

The 24-year-old from Swanscombe failed to stop for officers in Stanley Road at about 11am.

He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving a couple of minutes after crashing the vehicle in London Road.

He didn't have any serious injuries and remains in police custody as inquiries continue.

A road closure was temporarily put in place but has since been lifted.
