A police helicopter was called out and a man arrested after reports of car being stolen.

Officers were called to Swanley shortly after 10.30am to to follow the vehicle and were assisted by the National Police Air Service.

The car came to a stop in Downsview Close and a 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft.

He was taken into custody and later released pending further investigation.
