Large amounts of cash, cannabis and suspected class A drugs were found when police stopped a car late last night.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit pulled over a vehicle in Devon Road, Dartford, at around 11.30pm.

A search led to the discovery of the drugs and cash along with a set of weighing scales.

A 21-year-old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and possession with intent to supply class A.

More money was found following a search of a property.

The arrested man was later released, pending further inquiries.
