Beauty retailer Sephora has announced that it is opening its new Kent store on Wednesday, November 27.
It will be at the Bluewater Shopping Centre at Greenhithe and this is its seventh in the country.
James Waugh, centre director at Bluewater, said: “Since we announced that Sephora would be joining our brand line-up back in August, our guests have been eager to know the exact opening date.
“There is a real buzz around this opening, especially as the brand will bring multiple of the world’s most viral beauty brands to Bluewater for the first time.”
Sarah Boyd, managing director at Sephora UK, said: “We are thrilled to continue this momentum of our rapid growth by opening in key shopping destinations such as the iconic Bluewater Shopping Centre.”
Customers at the Bluewater will be able to choose from a selection of local and global brands in areas such as make-up, fragrance, skincare and haircare.
The store will stock make-up by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani and Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, as well as Glossier, Rare Beauty, Kayali and Glow Recipe.
Sephora, a multinational, was founded as a French company in 1969. It launched in the UK two years ago and other stores are in Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Gateshead and two in London.
The news about Sephora’s arrival in Kent was originally announced in August.
It follows another three brands choosing Bluewater for their first Kent-based stores. Luxury cosmetics brand, Aesop, opened on November 16 and for outerwear brand Belstaff it was the end of October. Meanwhile, Swedish fashion brand Lindex will open on November 28.
