Two global fashion brands will be joining a shopping centre lineup before the end of the year.
Spanish brands Bershka and Pull&Bear are set to open at Bluewater in Greenhithe.
They will be occupying 10,000 sq ft units, with a combined footprint of 20,000 sq ft.
Building work is set to start later this month on the Lower Rose Gallery, where the two stores will be opening next to each other, near Uniqlo.
The news comes after Phase Eight – which has been a tenant for more than 20 years – decided to relocate to a bigger store on-site.
Centre director at Bluewater, James Waugh said: “Bershka and Pull&Bear are two international fashion brands that our guests have told us they’ve been keen to shop at in Bluewater for some time, and we’re excited to be finally welcoming them to our retail line-up.
“The two new stores will be worth the wait for our guests, with a huge combined footprint of 20,000 sq ft, and we are delighted to be home to the brands’ first Kent-based stores.
“We will be announcing more details on the arrival of both brands in due course, with expected opening dates to be shared as soon as possible.”
Bershka, which was founded in 1998, will bring together the brand’s three lines: Bershka, BSK, and Man.
It caters for adventurous young people, who are aware of the latest trends and interested in music, new technology and social media.
The brand’s womenswear is split into two lines: Bershka and BSK.
The former focuses on trend-led pieces with a range of denim, casual wear and eveningwear, whilst the latter focuses on pop culture.
Bershka Man offers casual wear, sportswear and fashion-led trend pieces.
Pull&Bear will stock a full collection of menswear and womenswear. Established in 1991, the company has almost 1,000 stores worldwide.
Its fashion philosophy is to take the latest international trends, mix them with the influences that are seen on the street and in clubs, and rework them into comfortable, easy-to-wear garments.
