Skipper Elliot Bradbrook says winning his first Blue Square Bet South player-of-the-month award has capped a great month for him and Dartford.
"It has been really good," said the 27-year-old midfielder (pictured). "We have only dropped a couple of points since the turn of the year, so we can’t complain.
"Everybody is working hard, scoring goals and creating loads of chances, and you don’t really want it to end."
Bradbrook, who works for a firm of investment research consultants in the City of London, is now in his third season with the Darts since joining from Maidstone. He won recognition from the league sponsors for his six goals in January, taking his season’s tally to 15 – his best return for the Darts.
He said: "I always look to get into double figures as my first target. I got 10 last year and 14 in my first and this season I’ve been in the right place at the right time."
Bradbrook says a good team ethic has been one of the reasons for Dartford’s success.
He said: "I think we are one big family. There are no cliques at the club and somebody always steps up and does their bit."
