Bob Dunn Way has finally opened after three weeks of being flooded.
One of the main routes in and out of Dartford remained waterlogged after continual downfalls.
On Sunday, one lane opened and this morning, Kent Highways said the road was fully reopened.
Dartford MP Gareth Johnson said: “It’s been a long time coming. This closure had caused enormous disruption for both motorists and local residents.
“The key thing now is for Kent County Council to get permanent pumps in place which will minimise the chances of there having to be closures in the future.”
The road provides direct access to the M25 and to businesses on the Crossways Business Park, including Asda, Thames Water and the sewage works.
It was built on the former Joyce Green Hospital site and adjacent flood plains in 2004.
