Charlton Athletic came from behind to secure a battling draw at Bournemouth in League 1 on Saturday lunchtime.

Scott Wagstaff put the Addicks ahead on 28 minutes from close range but Marc Pugh levelled two minutes later with a header past Rob Elliot and Danny Hollands completed the Cherries’ turnaround with a low strike into the bottom corner on 57 minutes.

However Bradley Wright-Phillips (pictured) fired into the bottom corner from 18 yards with nine minutes remaining for his seventh goal for the Addicks and his second in four days to earn a share of the points in a game which the hosts bossed – winning 15 corners to Charlton’s three.

The point left Chris Powell’s side 12 points adrift of their hosts – who occupy the final play-off place.
