A cheeky youngster's remark to Harry Redknapp won the former Tottenham manager's respect this morning.
George Oxley, 13, bumped into the veteran outside Ossie's Cafe, in Copperfields Shopping Centre, Spital Street, Dartford.
The teenage Arsenal fanatic then hit the former midfielder with a playful jibe about his side's historic 5-2 win over north London rivals Spurs.
Redknapp was at the helm of the losing side in that 2012 derby and the Wilmington Academy school boy, of Hawley Road, Wilmington, made sure to remind him.
Mum Sarah Oxley said: "George had an amazing banter with Harry.
"He said: ‘I am not keen on you Harry as I am an Arsenal fan — thanks for the 5-2 win'.
"Harry laughed and then agreed to have his photo taken with George. He was really friendly and like a spring chicken. I had no idea he was 71!"
It is thought Redknapp, who was with former football hard man Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, former England goalkeeper David Seaman and pundit Paul Merson, was filming a TV show in the town.
After filming in the cafe the group moved to Dartford's stadium with George and friends Samuel Copley and Jason Muchuri in tow.
Redknapp, 71, had a successful career as a player with teams such as West Ham and Bournemouth before embarking on a long management career.
He has taken the reins at several clubs including West Ham, Spurs and Portsmouth before most recently embarking on a short spell at Championship outfit Birmingham.
