A MAN who fell to his death after jumping from a motorway bridge in Dartford on Monday has been identified as 74-year-old Dennis Welch.

Horrified motorists saw him jump on to the coastbound carriageway of the A2 from Oakfield Lane Bridge.

Mr Welch, of Oakfield Lane, Dartford, landed on the hard shoulder and died instantly. The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.
