Charlton edged closer to Championship safety with a battling goalless draw at play-off hopefuls Brighton on Tuesday night.
The Seagulls dominated at the Amex Stadium but Charlton defended well and deserved their good fortune in injury-time when Gordon Greer's header came back off the inside of a post.
That came seconds after Addicks keeper Ben Hamer, pictured, tipped a Vicente Calderon strike on to the bar.
Earlier, Brighton winger Will Buckley somehow missed the target from two yards while Charlton's best chance saw substitute Dale Stephens' 30-yard strike tipped over by Tomasz Kuszczak.
The draw leaves Charlton four points clear of the relegation zone in 14th.
Boss Chris Powell said: "We have got 51 points now and there are 18 points still to play for. We need to carry on the decent form we are in and finish as strongly as we can. Come the end of the season, this point could make the difference."
On Saturday, Charlton ended recovered from 2-0 down to beat Bolton 3-2.
Early goals from Marvin Sordell and Medo Kamara were pulled back by Johnnie Jackson and Dorian Dervite before Yann Kermorgant's penalty won it after Wanderers had Sam Ricketts sent off.
