The driver of a bus which ploughed into more than 25 vehicles on a town centre street has been released pending further investigation.
The 52-year-old from Northfleet was arrested on suspicion of careless driving on Tuesday after the crash in Dartford which injured 16 people.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened in Hythe Street shortly before 7pm.
None of the injuries were reported to be serious.
Tony Brown arrived on the scene just after the crash.
He said: "People at the scene said the bus simply ploughed through a number of cars that were stuck in traffic waiting at the traffic lights in Hythe Street.
"He made it a good way through at least five rows of cars before coming to a stop.
"While I couldn't see any seriously injured people there were lots of people in shock and damaged cars everywhere."
Witness Tharun Thayaparan, 20, said: "I heard loud bangs outside the shop.
"So I went to look and all I saw was this bus ploughing forward. It looked a bit like dominoes.
"Everyone was screaming and shouting.
"A woman had to jump out of the boot of one car. The roads didn’t clear until midnight."
