Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman was in town last week to officially open a new branch of a care business.
Mr Goodman, 74, helped open a branch of Helping Hands, in Dartford, which provides care support to people off all ages.
The event was staged last Wednesday, December 13, at Copperfields Shopping Centre, in Spital Street.
The new Helping Hands branch offers fully-trained care specialists, providing care support to people of all ages.
Mr Goodman who owns the The Goodman Dance Academy in Market Street, was head judge on the popular BBC dance show from 2004 until 2016.
He delighted customers and guests at the opening and even took time out to have a chat with guests and even took along a score paddle and gave the business full marks of 10.
Helping Hands provides visiting care in people's homes and offers companionship, cooking and cleaning, and personal care as well as clinical, palliative, respite and emergency care.
The family run business has been providing support through live-in and hourly care services for customers across England and Wales since 1989 and has 92 branches across the country.
Senior local marketing manager Tom White said: "The event went fantastic, we had Len Goodman, our chief executive Tim Lee, the Mayor of Dartford, Cllr David Moat and lots of customers and carers all in attendance.
"Michelle Stringer is our Dartford branch manager who is responsible for the branch.
"It was a celebration of the new branch opening and went really well.
"Lots of cake and sandwiches eaten and lot’s of tea was drunk, as well as lot’s of Christmas carols being sung."
