Kent Police close Princes Road in Dartford after two cars crash at the junction with Chastilian Road

Police have shut part of a busy road in Dartford this morning after a crash between two cars.

Princes Road has been cordoned off between Shepherds Lane and Crayford Road after a two-car collision at the junction with Chastilian Road.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said officers were called to the road at 9.45am.

She said: "The road is currently blocked while the vehicles are recovered.

"South Coast East Ambulance Services is also at the scene. At this stage it is not thought any injuries sustained are life threatening."

Drivers have been advised to use an alternative route. The road was re-opened at 11.37am.
