A cannabis factory was discovered at a home in Dartford last night and police have arrested a man on suspicion of cultivating the drug.

Police were called out to Brandon Road, and at least three police vehicles and a forensics van were spotted in the road, off East Hill at about 7pm.

These pictures were posted on the Dartford Gossip Facebook page and one man commented officers had arrested someone in The Brent shortly afterwards.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Police are investigating a cannabis cultivation which was located at a property in Brandon Road Dartford, on Friday, July 28.

“A 22-year-old man from Upper Holloway, London, was arrested close to the scene, on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

"He’s now been released pending further investigation."
