Fire crews dealt with a multiple car crash on the A2 coastbound near Darenth this morning.

Four fire engines, Kent Police, and South East Coast Ambulance Service were all called to the scene at 7.40am.

One person was trapped and up to five cars were involved in the incident.

A woman believed to be in her 40s has been taken to Darent Valley Hospital suffering from a head injury.
