Both tunnels at the Dartford Crossing have reopened after a vehicle fire.

A car was alight on the Essex side of the crossing and the west tunnel was closed.

But now - hours after the original fire and several other delays - traffic has got back to normal.

At its height motorists saw delays between J1A of the A282 for Swanscombe and J31 of the A1306 for West Thurrock.
