A picture shows the terrifying moment a car was left pinned to the front of a lorry after a crash on the M25.

Drivers were faced with queues of traffic following the accident on the anticlockwise carriageway.

The collision was between Junction 3 for M20 and A20 at the Swanley Interchange and Junction 2 at the A2 Darenth Interchange.

The vehicles were cleared by 7.45am and all lanes were reopened.

Slow traffic remained on M25 anticlockwise between the two junctions.
