Police were called after a car overturned in a crash in West Kingsdown this afternoon.
Two drivers miraculously emerged without serious injuries after the collision which involved two vehicles in Hever Road at around 2pm.
West Kingsdown resident Ciaran Duggan, 25, witnessed the aftermath of the crash.
"I was shocked to find an overturned car lying on the road," he said. "Shattered glass was all over the floor near the driver's seat but no ambulances were around, which was surprising.
"A blue police cordon was up and cars were having to U-turn around the road.
"Hopefully no one has been seriously injured and they have managed to survive such a horrendous smash."
A card shop owner, who works in the Hever Road shopping complex, said that two people managed to survive the crash and said they walked away without any serious injuries.
He added: "They were very lucky."
Police confirmed they were were called to a report of a collision involving two vehicles in Hever Road.
Officers attended and no injuries were believed to be reported.
