A Boris Johnson cut-out was spotted among someone's rubbish - as his replacement in No10 was announced.
Trevor Gardner, 56, was out walking his dog in Swanley yesterday morning when he saw a familiar face.
He wandered over and saw it was a cardboard cut-out of outgoing Prime Minister Boris - surrounded by bin bags.
Trevor said: “It made me laugh as it’s very topical as he’d been on the news that morning.
“I’m not a fan of him - he acts as a schoolboy."
Trevor said he would have liked to have seen Penny Mordaunt win the Conservative leadership race.
But she was voted out at an earlier stage, with Liz Truss winning over Rishi Sunak with 57% of the party vote.
