Police have released two CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after a teenager was punched in the face on a bus in Swanley.
The incident happened in February but police have only been able to release the CCTV images now.
A confrontation had occurred between a 16-year-old boy and a man travelling on a bus between Swanley and Hextable. The offender punched the victim in the face leaving him with sustained bruising to his lip and cheek.
The bus then pulled over and the offender got off.
PC Nick Bottle said: "It appears this was an entirely unprovoked attack on a boy who was much younger than the offender.
"We would like members of the public to study the image and contact us if they should recognise the man pictured.
"Alternatively, the man in the image may wish to contact us to rule himself out of enquiries."
Anyone with information about the incident at 3.25pm on February 23 can contact Kent Police on 101 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference YY/003357/12.
