Police have issued CCTV images of a man following a shop robbery.

A member of staff at a shop in Mead Road, Dartford was threatened by a man who made off with cash.

He left in the direction of Princes Road, with the victim left unhurt but shaken.

The robbery happened between 5.40pm and 5.50pm on Friday.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Steven Brown said: "We ask that anyone who recognises the man pictured in the images, calls Kent Police on 01474 366149 quoting XY/20218/17.

"Also, if anyone has any information about the incident, we would ask them to get in touch."
