Police are hunting a would-be robber who threatened staff at a Swanley supermarket's travel money counter.
The raider approached the bureau de change at the Asda store in London Road, and demanded workers hand over cash.
He claimed he had a weapon, but it was not seen.
Staff behind the desk activated an alarm and the suspect fled empty-handed.
Detectives have now issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the raid, which happened just before 4pm on Saturday.
Police are looking at images from the store as well as other CCTV in the area as part of the investigation.
The suspect was wearing a dark jacket, dark trousers and shoes, along with a white baseball cap and dark sunglasses.
When he walked into the store he was talking on a white smartphone.
