Charlton's 100 per cent start to the season came to an end after a 1-1 draw at home to Oldham.
Scott Wagstaff continued his fine early season form with a second goal in as many games to put the Addicks ahead on 24 minutes.
Wagstaff (pictured) finished from close range, slamming a shot into the roof of the net.
But, on the stroke of half time, Dean Furman equalised for the visitors on the break. He drilled a shot into the top left-hand corner past Rob Elliot from outside the box.
Oldham then enjoyed the bulk of possession in the second half, but Jason Jarrett saw red before the final whistle for a foul on Charlton midfielder Kyel Reid.
Dale Stephens hit the post twice for the visitors and drew a fine fingertip save from Elliot.
Following Jarrett's sending off for a second yellow card there were ugly scenes. He fired the ball into the Charlton dugout as he made his way off the pitch.
