Charlton maintained their unbeaten home record in League 1 with a 2-1 victory over Exeter on Saturday, but missed out on the chance to return to the top of League 1.
The Addicks appeared to be heading back to the top of the table on goal difference until Robert Snodgrass’s goal in injury time gave Leeds a 1-0 win at MK Dons.
Nick Bailey (pictured) struck three minutes before half-time with a close range shot that found its way into the bottom right corner of the goal to give the Addicks the lead.
Substitute Izale McLeod came off the bench, in place of Deon Burton, and netted the home side’s second with three minutes left.
Bertrand Cozic pulled a goal back for Exeter two minutes into time added on.
