Charlton went top of League 1 following a 2-0 victory over Walsall at The Valley on Saturday.

Miguel Angel Llera gave the home side the lead on the half hour mark when he netted from close range.

They added a second after the break when Maidstone-born youngster Scott Wagstaff was on target four minutes after coming on as a substitute.

Deon Burton played in Wagstaff and he applied a fine finish into the bottom corner of the net to put the Addicks top.
