Paul Benson’s late equaliser ensured Charlton’s unbeaten run remained intact as they shared the points with Bristol Rovers in League 1 at The Valley.
Rovers threatened to cause a shock when Wayne Brown gave them a second-half lead, as he smashed Ben Swallow's pass in to break the deadlock.
However, the goal sparked Benson – and Charlton – into life.
The Addicks striker turned home substitute Kyel Reid’s cross 13 minutes from time to set up a grandstand finish and, although both sides had chances late on to win, the scores remained level.
The point keeps Charlton in second spot in the table and extends their unbeaten run to nine games.
