Charlton Athletic ended what manager Chris Powell described as his side's "blip" with a 3-0 victory over Yeovil on Tuesday night.
Without a win in three matches, the npower League 1 leaders got back on title track thanks to goals from Dany N'Guessan, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Darel Russell.
Frenchman N'Guessan, signed from Millwall on Monday, scored after just seven minutes of his debut with a cross-cum-shot and then Wright-Phillips struck his 21st goal of the season on the hour.
Substitute Lawson D'Ath hit the bar for Yeovil in the closing minutes before Russell wrapped the game up by finishing off a pull-back from Rhoys Wiggins at the death.
Powell (picture) said: "We had a blip as such with the two home defeats and the point at Scunthorpe, so I was just pleased for everyone that we got three valuable points, not to mention three goals at home."
