Charlton have completed the loan signing of Akpo Sodje from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.
The Addicks' only move on transfer deadline day was to re-sign the Greenwich-born striker who scored twice in nine games on loan at The Valley from mid-November to January 9.
The younger brother of Charlton defender Sam returned to Wednesday after the arrival of new manager Alan Irvine at Hillsborough but has been allowed to return to SE7 until May.
Addicks boss Phil Parkinson, pictured, said: "I'm really pleased to get Akpo. He's a real physical presence at the top of the pitch and he increases competition for places.
"We'd just got him up to speed in terms of fitness when there was a managerial change at Wednesday which coincided with the end of his loan.
"The loan is until the end of the season, but his contract is up in the summer, so that's something to take into account as well.”
The former QPR and Huddersfield man's signing was completed in time for the frotnman - who will wear number 33 - to be eligible for Tuesday night's trip to Walsall.
The Addicks already have David Mooney on loan from Reading and Kyel Reid in from Sheffield United, though Elliot Omozusi's loan spell from Fulham has now expired.
