Bluewater has announced its Christmas attraction will go ahead, despite calling it off earlier.
Believe at Bluewater was initially cancelled due to Kent going into Tier 3 restrictions but the centre, in Greenhithe, confirmed this morning the month-long event will now take place.
The festive experience will open this Friday and run until Christmas Eve.
At the end of last week, the centre sent an email to people who had bought tickets stating it had been cancelled due to Bluewater falling under Tier 3 restrictions - meaning indoor events were not allowed.
It read: "It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Believe at Bluewater is unable to take place this year as it is classified as an indoor event.
"We are very disappointed as we know you will be."
But yesterday, it sent another message to ticket holders informing them the decision had been reversed.
Robert Goodman, senior centre director at Bluewater, said: "The refund email issued on Friday was based on advice at the time, however the latest guidance which was confirmed on Sunday means that the event can now take place as planned.
"The safety of guests and staff is of paramount importance to Bluewater, and Covid measures are in place for this event and throughout the centre."
Yesterday's email sent to ticket holders read: "If you have already received a refund to your account with the reference ‘Eskimo Jo Events’ your booking date and time remain unchanged - we just need you to arrive five minutes before your booking time to pay for your tickets.
"If you have not received your refund, your booking date and time remain unchanged - no action is required.
"If you live in Tier 1 or 2 and you no longer wish to attend this event, please get in touch by emailing us at tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk and we can issue a refund."
Believe is described as an "immersive festive journey," with magical moments along the way and fun-filled festive twists.
