A jumper isn't what you would usually wear to a nightclub.
But one Kent venue is asking clubbers to don a festive knit for a special charity night.
Guests might get a bit hot and sweaty - but they will be helping to raise cash for the children’s ward at Darent Valley Hospital.
ATIK nightclub in Dartford is hosting the event on Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, December 10.
Special guest will be The Grinch who will be there to "lark about and encourage donations to the cause".
Funds raised at the Essex Road night spot will go towards buying gifts for young patients in Willow Ward, in particular Worry Eaters.
These soft toys enable children to write or draw their troubles and zip them away in the toy’s mouth in order to help give them comfort and reassurance and aid a restful night’s sleep.
ATIK general manager Jordan Craine said: “We’re looking forward to a great night out to support our local hospital which does amazing work to help sick children and their families.
" Our guests are always generous when it comes to charitable giving and I’m sure they will get behind this appeal.
“We’re looking forward to seeing some sparkly and eye-catching knitwear and to having fun with The Grinch and win him over to celebrating the festive season.”
