Police, paramedics, firefighters and coastguard officers are involved in a search for a missing 16-year-old boy.

Eyewitnesses report fire engines and coastguard vehicles in the roads around Sutton at Hone near Dartford, where the emergency services are thought to be searching lakes.

The teenager was reported missing just before 2pm today.

Unconfirmed reports suggest he was fishing at the lakes.

Police have not released a name or picture of the missing boy.
