A popular comedian is hoping to get shoppers chuckling when he pops to a shopping centre next week.

James Corden, who co-wrote hit BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey and played Smithy in the programme, is heading to Bluewater in St Clement's Way, Greenhithe, on Thursday (December 8).

He will be signing copies of his autobiography May I Have Your Attention Please? in Waterstones at 12.30pm.
