HEATHER DOWNS: not seen by her parents since she was due to buy a bus pass

CONCERN is increasing for a 15-year-old girl who went missing from her home three weeks ago.

Heather Downs was last seen by her parents on November 21 when she left her home in Grovehurst Road, Dartford, to go and buy a bus pass.

Investigating officer DI Andy Short said: "We are still following up a number of enquiries but we are obviously concerned for her safety, as are her parents, and we want to make sure that wherever she is she safe and well.

"Heather has gone missing before but we have always managed to locate her fairly quickly so the length of time she has been missing is of concern. We would appeal to anyone who knows her whereabouts or for Heather herself to get in touch with us as soon as possible."

Heather is 5ft 5in and has straight shoulder length brown hair. She was last seen wearing black trousers, white trainers, a white shirt and a navy blue fleece top. She is known to frequent the Gravesend area.

Anyone with information can contact Gravesend Police on 01474 331055.
