Fly-tipped rubbish blocks Gorse Road in Crockenhill between Swanley and Orpington

A country lane is blocked after a pile of rubbish, including a tyre and what appears to be a fridge, was fly-tipped.

It was spotted in Gorse Road between Crockenhill and Orpington this morning.

The road is impassable with black bags, broken furniture and rubbish across the lane.

Several people living in the area have expressed their outrage, with one saying: “They have no pride and certainly no shame.”

Earlier this month, the owner of a luxury swimming pool company whose vehicle was used for fly-tipping in a country lane in Crockenhill Lane, Eynsford, was fined more than £600.

Sevenoaks council has been approached for comment.
