A road will be closed for a week after a huge pile of rubble and dirt was dumped in the middle of a country lane.
Access to Dean Bottom, in South Darenth, has been cut off while an investigation and clearance work is carried out on a stretch of lane covered with mounds of earth.
A Kent County Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of fly-tipping in Wilson Lane, South Darenth.
“An emergency road closure is in place, with an official diversion route, while highway officers organise for the waste to be cleared.”
A diversion has been put in place via Canada Farm Road and Rabbits Road.
