There were long tailbacks on the M25 after a crash closed a lane of the motorway.

It happened at around 5pm, and is believed to have involved a car and a van.

The accident initially stopped all traffic.

One lane was later blocked between junctions 3 and 2.

Emergency services were called to the scene, howeve, nobody is believed to have been badly injured.

A police spokesperson said: "Police were called to a collision on the M25 between junctions two and three at 4.52pm on Tuesday, 15 May 2018.

South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to treat a number of minor injuries."
