A main road has fully reopened after a car crash closed two lanes.

The A20 coastbound from the A224 Sevenoaks Way near Sidcup to the M20 junction 1 for the Swanley Interchange was partially shut form around 7.20am after a Toyota crashed into a barrier.

Queues formed in the area throughout the morning rush hour and traffic was slow-moving.

Police were in attendance, along with highways teams who have now cleared the issue and reopened the road.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.15am to reports that a car had collided with the central reservation.

“No injuries were reported and officers, along with Highways, officers attended to assist with traffic control while the vehicle was recovered.”
