KENT Police have appealed for witnesses after a 19-year-old woman was killed after being run-over on the M25 near the Dartford river crossing.

The woman died when she was struck by two vehicles after getting out of a Renault Clio which had been in collision with another car.

The emergency services were called to the incident, between junctions two and three of the motorway, at about 2.50am on Sunday.

Fire crews from Dartford and Swanley were called out to the scene but found the woman dead on their arrival. The victim lived in Essex. She has not yet been named.
