A crash near Dartford is adding to delays in the area after an earlier accident.

The first crash happened near the Bluewater slip road on the London-bound carriageway of the A2.

Two cars collided at about 5.20pm, partially blocking the road.

Police imposed a rolling road block to slow traffic while the debris were cleared.

At about 7pm a second crash happened further up the A2 at the slip road for the A282, which is believed to have involved two cars.

No one is thought to have been seriously injured in either collision but motorists have been delayed by up to an hour.
