Firefighters have been called to a fire spreading over a large area of fire and undergrowth in Joyce Green Lance, Dartford.
Crews were called just before 4.30pm and were said to be working hard in hot arduous conditions to battle the blaze.
Two hose reels and a water shuttle are being used in the operation.
