A caravan went up in flames in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters were called to the fire in Rogers Wood Lane, Fawkham, at 1.24am, with the blaze having spread to surrounding fencing.

The crews wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze, the cause of which is not yet known.

No injuries were reported and both fire engines left the scene shortly before 2am.
