Three boys are being hunted after a disabled man had his crutches kicked from under him in Swanley.
The 24-year-old, who suffers from a condition that means he needs crutches to get around, was targeted in St Mary's Road.
He was walking from the station towards the town centre when he told police he was verbally abused by three youths - including one as young as 13.
One of the trio kicked his crutches, causing him to fall over and unable to get up until he could call for help.
Police have recorded the incident as common assault and a hate crime because of the language they used.
PCSO Tim Darling said: "Fortunately the victim did not suffer any injuries as a result of his fall, but Kent Police will not tolerate any level of violence on our streets, especially attacks on our most vulnerable in society.
"The victim has told police he does not know the boys, but had perhaps seen them before, which leads us to suspect they could be local. One of the three boys had a bicycle with him and another was riding on the back of the bicycle as a passenger.
"Two of the boys were white, around 5ft 10ins tall and possibly aged 16 or 17. Both were wearing dark-coloured hooded tops or jackets while the younger boy, around 13 years-old and 5ft 2ins tall, was white and wearing a jumper and jogging bottoms."
Anyone able to identify the trio involved in the attack, which happened at about 6.15pm on October 22, is asked to phone PCSO Darling on 07989 992172, quoting crime number YY/21048/13, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
