A curry house in Swanley has won a prestigious award presented by MasterChef judge Greg Wallace.
Namaste is the regional winner of the Chef of the Year Award, organised by the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA).
The High Street curry house was chosen from hundreds of entrants, where the winners were judged on their innovation, presentation of food, hygiene standards and customer service.
The competing chefs participated in a live cook-off and 11 winners were chosen.
The BCA said the winners represented the excellence taking place in Bangladeshi curry houses across the UK, where they have been recognised for their love and passion, innovation, blending of spice and flavours to create exceptional food.
Mohammed Saidul Amin, chef at Namaste, said: "What an honour. Thank you, BCA. I am delighted to win the Chef of the Year Award for our region.
"These awards are so important, not only do they shine a light on great talent in this industry, but these awards celebrate the best of local talent. We look forward to serving and seeing our customers."
